Mayank Mehta has joined Magma General Insurance Limited as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Backed by over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT governance, and risk management, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the organization.
Prior to this, Mayank served as the CISO at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, where he spearheaded key initiatives in information security, regulatory compliance, and business continuity planning. His earlier leadership roles at Summit Digitel, Axis Finance, Accelya, and Fullerton India underscore his proven ability in building secure IT infrastructures, driving audit readiness, and ensuring vendor and regulatory alignment.
Mayank began his career with roles at Netmagic (NTT), Travelex, and IBM India, where he gained deep expertise in GRC, ISMS implementation, SIEM, vulnerability management, and adherence to international standards like ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.
Recognized for his strategic approach and leadership in cybersecurity, Mayank is set to enhance Magma’s security posture and address the challenges of an ever-changing digital threat environment.
