Rohit Sharma has been elevated to the position of Head of Cyber Security & Chief Risk Officer at Adani Power. With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and protecting critical infrastructure, he will now lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy and drive risk governance across operations.
Since joining Adani Power in 2021, Rohit has played a key role in fortifying cybersecurity frameworks and building high-performing security teams. His areas of expertise include security policy development, incident response, vulnerability assessments, and managing Security Operations Centers (SOC) for critical systems.
Prior to Adani, Rohit spent nearly two decades at NTPC Limited, where he led large-scale cybersecurity initiatives and was instrumental in implementing ISO 27001 standards, cyber crisis management frameworks, and SCADA security protocols.
Rohit’s strong grasp of security controls and proven leadership in managing high-risk environments make him a valuable asset in strengthening Adani Power’s resilience and ensuring its continued growth in the energy sector.
