In his new role, he will oversee mission-critical functions including technology and enterprise architecture, information security and cyber resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery, infrastructure operations, systems uptime and capacity management, and operational risk governance. As a Board Member, he will also contribute to the strategic direction of the organization.
Prior to joining NSDL, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Bombay Stock Exchange Limited, where he led the exchange’s technology strategy, modernization initiatives, and digital infrastructure supporting one of India’s leading capital market institutions.
Earlier, he was Chief Technology and Digital Officer at ICICI Securities, where he drove enterprise IT strategy, digital transformation, technology innovation, and customer-focused digital platforms across the organization.
Before that, he served as Chief Technology Officer at CMS Info Systems, leading enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives aimed at modernizing the company’s technology ecosystem.
He also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at IIFL HOLDINGS LTD, where he led IT strategy, application delivery, digital lending transformation, mobile and web platforms, cybersecurity enhancements, DevOps adoption, vendor optimization, and regulatory compliance across the group’s financial services businesses.
Earlier, as CIO/CTO at Club Mahindra, he spearheaded digital transformation, business intelligence, infrastructure modernization, mobile application development, and innovation initiatives that strengthened customer engagement and improved operational efficiency.
Before joining Club Mahindra, he spent more than 12 years with Tech Mahindra Ltd, progressing through leadership positions including Assistant Vice President, Corporate Head, and Group Head. During this tenure, he led large-scale CRM, billing, portal, business intelligence, application modernization, and global delivery programs, while driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth across international markets.
He began his career as an Associate Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services, delivering technology solutions for leading financial institutions and banking clients, and later served as Resource Manager at Mastech.
With over three decades of experience across capital markets, banking, financial services, enterprise technology, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and mission-critical operations, Subhash brings extensive expertise in building resilient technology ecosystems and leading large-scale business transformation.
