RiskProfiler announced the RiskProfiler MCP Connector, a new interface that enables users to use compatible AI assistants to access authorized intelligence and functions from the RiskProfiler platform. Designed for security analysts, risk teams, and security leaders, the connector provides conversational access to external threat and exposure intelligence. Authorized users can ask natural-language questions about changes to their external attack surface, third-party risk, credential exposure, digital threats, and ongoing security operations.
The connector is intended to reduce the manual effort required to navigate multiple dashboards, filters, and reports during an investigation. RiskProfiler remains the underlying intelligence platform and system of record, while the AI assistant provides an additional way for users to explore information within their authorized access.
How the RiskProfiler MCP Connector Works
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a standardized method through which compatible AI applications can request information and functions from connected systems. The RiskProfiler MCP Connector applies this interaction model to the RiskProfiler platform. When an authorized user submits a natural-language question through a supported AI assistant, the connector can translate that request into permitted queries or functions within the customer’s RiskProfiler environment. Relevant results are then returned to the assistant for presentation and further analysis. RiskProfiler remains the system of record, enforcing access controls and supplying the customer-specific intelligence and investigation context used to generate each response.
The connector also complements KnyX AI, RiskProfiler’s agentic investigation capability. The agentic AI engine is designed to collect and correlate evidence, investigate threat signals, generate confidence-scored findings, and support remediation in accordance with customer-defined policies. The MCP Connector provides a conversational way to request and explore this intelligence through compatible AI assistants.
Connecting Intelligence Across External Risk Domains
The RiskProfiler MCP Connector is designed to support investigations across multiple areas of external risk without requiring users to treat each signal as an isolated record. It helps security analysts bring together attack path intelligence that KnyX carries out across modules by correlating threat signal analysis, investigation, validation, and prioritization. The connector can also support entity-centric investigations. An analyst examining a domain, for example, may request the available exposure, digital-threat, vulnerability intelligence, credential, and third-party context associated with that entity, then narrow the investigation through follow-up questions.
Security analysts can also request a daily security briefing that prioritizes significant developments across their external risk landscape. Based on the organization’s configuration and permitted data, the briefing can highlight attack-surface changes, new findings, shifts in vendor risk, brand and identity threats, and pending assessment activity, giving teams a focused view of what has changed, why it matters, and what warrants further investigation.
