Rajkumar Punna has been elevated to the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Vistaar Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., marking an important leadership milestone in the organisation’s cybersecurity and risk management journey.
In his new role, Rajkumar will spearhead Vistaar’s enterprise-wide information security strategy, focusing on enhancing cyber resilience, governance, risk and compliance frameworks, cloud and infrastructure security, and regulatory compliance across the organisation.
Before this elevation, he served as Head – Information Security at Vistaar Financial Services, where he was instrumental in defining and executing the enterprise security roadmap aligned with business goals. His scope of responsibilities included AWS cloud security governance, SOC operations, application and infrastructure security, VAPT, DLP, identity and access management, and ensuring compliance with RBI, CERT-In, ISO, SOC 2, NIST, and ITGC standards. He also played a significant role in strengthening security awareness, service resilience, budgeting, vendor management, and building high-performing information security teams.
Prior to joining Vistaar, Rajkumar spent over five years at Kinara Capital in leadership positions, including Divisional Head – Systems (IT Infrastructure & Information Security). There, he led IT infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, IT GRC, cloud initiatives, and large-scale technology programs.
Earlier in his career, he worked with NTT Ltd. as an IT Service Delivery Manager, overseeing global and PAN-India IT service delivery across industries such as financial services, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, retail, and automotive. He also held regional IT leadership roles at Manappuram Finance Limited, managing infrastructure, applications, SLA governance, and extensive distributed branch networks.
With deep expertise in cybersecurity leadership, cloud security, IT governance, and large-scale IT operations, Rajkumar Punna’s appointment as CISO is set to further strengthen Vistaar Financial Services’ security posture as the organisation continues to expand its digital and financial services footprint.
