Rohan Haldankar has stepped into the role of Vice President & CISO at BNP Paribas, marking a major milestone in his extensive career spanning nearly two decades in the field of cybersecurity. Based in Mumbai, he will lead the bank’s efforts in cybersecurity strategy, IT governance, risk management, and compliance to further enhance BNP Paribas’ security framework in the region.
Previously, Rohan held the position of Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse, and played pivotal roles at Abhyudaya Co-operative Bank as Information Security Officer and at Tata Consultancy Services, where he supported quality control and audit functions.
Armed with deep expertise in cybersecurity, IT GRC, security operations, and enterprise risk, Rohan has a proven track record of establishing robust and scalable security infrastructures. His comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry and emerging cyber threats makes him a valuable addition to BNP Paribas’ ongoing mission to uphold security and regulatory excellence.
