Dr. Yusuf Hashmi has joined Dell Technologies UAE as Chief Cybersecurity Advisor, bringing extensive expertise in cyber resilience, security strategy, and large-scale operational transformation across enterprise and government sectors. In this strategic advisory role, he will work closely with CXOs, CISOs, and senior security leaders across the region to modernize security architectures, implement Zero Trust frameworks, and build AI-driven security operations that minimize risk while accelerating digital transformation. At Dell, Dr. Hashmi will lead high-level executive engagements to align business objectives with secure technology frameworks. His responsibilities will include advising on the protection of hybrid and multi-cloud environments, securing OT/ICS infrastructures, and supporting organizations in implementing strong cyber recovery and ransomware resilience strategies. He will also collaborate with product, sales, and engineering teams to convert customer requirements into practical, scalable solutions, while driving cybersecurity thought leadership through executive briefings and industry forums. Dr. Hashmi brings with him a proven track record from senior CISO and advisory roles, where he has led enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs, established Global Cyber Defense operations, and delivered measurable business outcomes such as cost optimization, enhanced detection and response capabilities, and accelerated security maturity. His expertise spans Security Service Edge (SSE), PAM, ITDR, next-generation SIEM, attack surface management, and people-centric security programs—making him exceptionally positioned to help organizations in the UAE strengthen their cyber posture and confidently adopt next-generation technologies.
