V V Subba Raju has assumed the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at iBASIS, further strengthening the organization’s leadership across information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
In his new role, Subba Raju will lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, enhance security architecture, oversee risk and compliance frameworks, and ensure resilience across iBASIS’s global technology ecosystem.
Before joining iBASIS, he served as Senior Director – CISO & DPO for APAC and India at NTT DATA Business Solutions. In this capacity, he led regional security strategy, enterprise risk management, incident response, BCP/DR initiatives, and the implementation of ISO 27001:2022. He also held the position of Director – IT & Networks, managing IT operations across India and Qatar while acting as CISO and DPO.
Earlier, Subba Raju was Head – IT Infrastructure & Information Security at CallHealth, where he managed large-scale IT operations, cloud platforms, and information security governance and compliance programs. His career also includes leadership roles at Dhanush InfoTech, Capgemini, and Microland, where he oversaw global IT operations, service delivery, and security initiatives across multiple geographies.
With extensive experience spanning IT operations, cybersecurity leadership, and enterprise risk management, V V Subba Raju’s appointment as CISO at iBASIS is expected to significantly strengthen the organization’s security posture as it continues to scale its digital and global footprint.
