Naina Bhattacharya Named Chief Information Security Officer at Coats

Naina Bhattacharya has taken on the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Coats in the United Kingdom.

In her new position, she will oversee Coats’ enterprise-wide cybersecurity framework, enhancing governance, strengthening resilience, and advancing risk management across the company’s global operations, while supporting secure and scalable digital transformation.

Before joining Coats, Naina served as CISO at Danone, where she drove a multi-year global cybersecurity transformation covering governance, architecture, operations, and incident response. She also played a key role as a co-sponsor for Diversity & Inclusion initiatives across IT and Data teams worldwide.

Earlier in her career, she held senior cybersecurity leadership roles at EY and Deloitte in the UK, advising large global enterprises on cybersecurity strategy, data privacy, and enterprise-scale security transformation. She began her professional journey with engineering roles at Sun Microsystems and Infosys.

With extensive experience in cybersecurity transformation, global operating models, and inclusive leadership, Naina’s appointment underscores Coats’ continued focus on building strong cyber resilience and enabling secure growth.
