Amit Saxena has joined Barco as Vice President, Global Head of IT, Cybersecurity & AI Platforms and Technology GCC Head, effective August 2026. Based in Noida, he will oversee the company’s global technology strategy and execution, covering enterprise technology platforms, global infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, cloud operations, digital workplace and AI enablement.
In his new role, Saxena will also spearhead the strategic development of Barco’s Technology Global Capability Centre (GCC), with a focus on strengthening engineering capabilities, nurturing future talent and driving digital innovation. His responsibilities will span global infrastructure, corporate security, service delivery and AI platforms.
Prior to joining Barco, Saxena served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at IKS Health, where he implemented an AI-first IT strategy across US healthcare workflows, including revenue cycle management, clinical support and value-based care. He also introduced security-by-design architecture based on Zero Trust principles and optimised IT costs through AIOps and automation.
Before IKS Health, Saxena held the position of Chief Delivery Officer at CMS IT Services, where he managed the full P&L for managed IT delivery across more than 150 enterprise customers, leading a workforce of over 5,000 associates. During his tenure, he also established a Technology Solutions Group encompassing data centres, cloud, cybersecurity, AIOps and automation.
Earlier, Saxena spent nearly five years at Motherson Technology Services, holding leadership positions in strategic account management and IT mergers and acquisitions. His responsibilities included overseeing strategic programmes, IT due diligence, post-merger integration and global IT sourcing strategies.
Saxena also held senior leadership positions at Navisite, including Vice President – Information Technology and Country Head, where he led India operations across IT, HR, finance and administration. Previously, as Senior Director – Service Delivery, he oversaw operations supporting more than 1,000 clients across the United States and the United Kingdom.
Before Navisite, Saxena worked at Wipro Limited as Delivery Head – Cloud Transformation Services, leading cloud transformation engagements and building a cloud delivery team of more than 130 professionals.
He spent over 17 years at STMicroelectronics, advancing through various technology and programme leadership roles, including Head – Programs/Projects (Worldwide Data Center), Senior Programme Manager and OA Service Line Manager. His experience encompassed global infrastructure programmes, mergers and acquisitions, IT governance, data centre operations and enterprise workplace services.
With extensive experience across global IT leadership, cybersecurity, cloud transformation, AI platforms, enterprise operations and technology strategy, Saxena brings a diverse technology leadership background to his new role at Barco.
