In his new role, he will be responsible for driving cybersecurity strategy, safeguarding critical infrastructure, enhancing cyber resilience, managing enterprise cyber risks, and advancing security operations to support secure and scalable digital transformation across Siemens Energy’s ecosystem.
Prior to joining Siemens Energy India, Rohit served as Head of Cyber Security & Chief Risk Officer at Adani Power, where he led enterprise-wide cyber risk management, governance, and cybersecurity strategy initiatives.
Earlier within the Adani Group, he held the positions of Head of Cyber Security (Vice President) and Head of Cyber Security at Adani Power Ltd. and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. In these roles, he was responsible for cybersecurity operations, policy development, infrastructure protection, and enterprise security transformation programs.
Before joining Adani, he spent nearly two decades with NTPC Limited, holding a range of cybersecurity and IT leadership positions. As DGM (IT-Security), he led Cyber Security Operations Center initiatives, cyber crisis management planning, incident response programs, ISO 27001 implementation, and critical information infrastructure protection efforts.
Earlier at NTPC, he served as Senior Manager, Manager, Senior Engineer, and Engineer, gaining extensive experience across cybersecurity operations, SIEM platforms, advanced malware protection, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability assessments, networking, VPN technologies, satellite communications, and enterprise infrastructure security.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, cyber risk management, SOC operations, governance, and enterprise security transformation, Rohit brings deep expertise in securing large-scale energy and industrial environments while enabling resilient and secure digital growth.
