In his new role, he will continue to drive the organization’s information security strategy, strengthen cyber resilience, enhance governance and compliance frameworks, and lead enterprise-wide risk management initiatives.
Mohit has been associated with ORIX India for the past six years. Prior to this promotion, he served as VP-1 and CISO, and earlier as CISO, playing a pivotal role in establishing and leading the company’s information security function.
Before joining ORIX India, he was the Head of Information Security at RattanIndia Finance Private Limited, where he oversaw cybersecurity programs across the group.
Earlier in his career, he held key positions at GENPACT, focusing on information security, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), third-party risk management, business continuity, and security assurance. He also worked with Orange Business Services and Wipro, gaining extensive experience in network and security consulting.
With over 20 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and enterprise security operations, Mohit brings significant expertise in protecting and strengthening security frameworks within complex financial services environments.
