National Skill Development Corporation Names Devendra Pareek as Chief Information Security Officer

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has appointed Devendra Pareek as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), reinforcing its cybersecurity and risk governance framework as it continues to scale digital skilling platforms nationwide.

In this role, Pareek will be responsible for information security strategy, cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, and digital resilience, safeguarding NSDC’s technology ecosystem that supports large-scale workforce development initiatives across India.

Before joining NSDC, Pareek was CISO at Clix Capital, where he led enterprise cybersecurity programs aligned with NBFC regulatory requirements, strengthening governance, application security, and cyber risk controls.

He previously held senior security and compliance leadership roles at AU Small Finance Bank, managing IT audits, regulatory examinations, cybersecurity assessments, and incident response, while working closely with regulators including RBI, NPCI, and IRDAI.

Pareek’s background also includes IT infrastructure transformation, cloud and network security, SOC enablement, and disaster recovery strategy, with earlier roles at Kogta Financial (India) Limited and IBM.

His appointment reflects NSDC’s continued focus on building secure, compliant, and resilient digital platforms to support India’s evolving skilling and employment ecosystem.
