Praveen Parihar has assumed the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Razorpay, where he will lead the company’s information security initiatives and strengthen safeguards for India’s fast-growing fintech ecosystem.
With more than a decade of expertise spanning cybersecurity, fraud prevention, risk management, and compliance, Praveen brings deep knowledge and proven leadership to this position. Before joining Razorpay, he held senior roles at Maya, driving fraud detection and prevention programs, and served as Head of Information Security Compliance in the Philippines, focusing on cloud security, threat & vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.
Earlier in his career, Praveen built strong consulting and technical foundations with ControlCase, Aneja Associates, and Tata Technologies, working on PCI-DSS, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and infrastructure security. He also showcased his entrepreneurial spirit by founding Dailycacy, an F&B venture blending innovation with authentic culinary experiences.
Praveen’s rich experience across cybersecurity, fraud risk, and compliance frameworks positions him to play a pivotal role in advancing Razorpay’s mission of building a secure, trusted, and future-ready payments ecosystem.
