Angel One has appointed Sridhar Govardhan as its new Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With over two decades of experience in shaping cybersecurity strategy, governance, and innovation, Sridhar will steer Angel One’s information security roadmap to enhance resilience, regulatory compliance, and customer trust across its fast-growing digital ecosystem.
Prior to joining Angel One, Sridhar served as Senior Vice President & Head of Information Security at CoinDCX, where he led comprehensive cybersecurity programs spanning digital assets, compliance frameworks, and data protection. Earlier, as Vice President and Head of Information Security at Flipkart, he was instrumental in fortifying one of India’s largest e-commerce platforms against evolving cyber threats.
Sridhar also spent over 14 years at Wipro, progressing through key leadership roles—including Chief Information Security Officer and General Manager of Cyber Security—where he spearheaded enterprise-wide transformations in security architecture, governance, and risk management.
Beginning his career at Infosys Technologies as an IT Security Analyst, Sridhar has consistently demonstrated excellence in cyber defense, identity management, data protection, and incident response.
With his proven expertise and visionary leadership, Sridhar is well-positioned to strengthen Angel One’s cybersecurity maturity and innovation-led culture, ensuring robust protection of digital assets and sustained customer confidence in today’s dynamic financial landscape.
